Travelling: Black Sea, Paradise with Friends

Our nice company went to the Black Sea at the period of “velvet season” - the end of August up to the middle of September. The coast is not very crowded and the temperature of water and the air is equal, +27°C.

Though we live in different countries, far from each other, we gather once or twice a year. We grew up together, studied at the same secondary school and quite simultaneously, we had early marriages, changed husbands and boy friends. Each of us has a good education, high professional and social status. Our children grew up and live separately since the age of 18. They are also well-to-do people with creative professions, making good money.

This is my son. He makes women beautiful.

This time we chose a very cozy resort with the long name Arhipo-Osypovka (550 km from my home). It gives the feeling of comfort as it is surrounded by mountains, covered with forests.

The town is neat and well-planned.

There are plenty of trees, green grass and flowers everywhere.

The local population turned their houses into small hotels

At this period, most of hotels are half-filled.

We chose to live in a hotel looking more like a palace, standing on top of the hill.

Its pompous architecture gives you the feeling of fiesta.

We paid a funny price – less than €10 per night!

The beach is not long, covered with coastal shingle.

You can bathe in the sea even at night.

We hired a boat for a nice trip along the coast.

The whole place is so peaceful.

At night the amusement park added both fun, drive, adrenaline and fear.

At the shooting gallery I was given a prize for missing 20 objects!

It is me in a ‘break dance’ attraction,
with breath-taking-away turns, rises and downs rolling.

To be continued

Love,
Natalia Levis-Fox
